Day three – Saalbach Ski Trip – Austria
It was still snowing this morning! How much more snow can fall?
Overnight we must have had another 5 – 6 inches of snow.
Too much snow in Saalbach – overnight we received even more snow!
Today we went out and explored some more of the mountain. Again conditions were difficult as even though the trails had been groomed overnight the fresh snow had been cut up by the other skiers.
Getting about in Saalbach was starting to get tough
It was a good day of skiing. The mountain is well served by lifts and there are plenty of bars for drinks and lunch. I just wish the weather would get better!
As soon as the snow stopped the roads were cleared
Besides all the snow the cloud-base was very low, this made visibility up the mountain poor, and skiing difficult
